Roger Beasley Mazda is proud to be an automotive leader in our community. We are also proud to support a number of charitable causes in the Austin area. At Roger Beasley Mazda, we understand that our business prospers when our community prospers.
Below you will find some of the causes we support and contact information should you want to make a contribution or get more information about any of the worthwhile charities and causes Roger Beasley Mazda supports. We thank you for your time and interest.
The Austin Humane Society is a long term favorite charity of ours. Every year we hold a drawing for a brand new Mazda. For the last few years the drawing has been for a power retractable Mazda MX-5 Miata.
The proceeds from the raffle of only 5,000 tickets go to support the wonderful causes of this no kill facility.
Every March the drawing is held at a Roger Beasley Mazda dealership. You can learn more about the Austin Humane Society by going to their website at www.austinhumanesociety.org
Most of us remember the March of Dimes growing up as an organization that eliminated Polio.
Today it is chartered with the responsibility to find the cause and prevention of premature births, one of the main causes of infant mortality in the United States. To bring the topic closer to home 1 in 7 or 13.7% of all births in Texas are pre-term or premature. The effects are sometimes death or life long illness and can include cerebral palsy, mental retardation, chronic lung disease, blindness, and hearing loss.
Austin is one of 10 American cities that exceeded $1 million in monies raised for the Walk two years in a row. Texans never do anything small.
Won’t you please do one of the following?
Create a Walk Team. Raise funds through your own team
Match the Fund Raising Efforts of an existing Team – If you know someone who already walks for the Babies, consider matching their fund raising
Whatever your choice, reach deep down and help us support this worthy cause.
A new favorite group of ours is Wonders & Worries - If you've ever encountered a family in which a parent has a serious illness the impact on a child can be profound. It can affect their mental health, family functioning, school performance, friendships, growth and development and overall adjustment.
Wonders and Worries counsels children in understanding the situation and handling these potential negative effects. They give parents the resources and support to help their family work through such a crisis.
